Healing the “I Am:” Moving From People Pleasing to Freedom
A Special Healing Session and Attunement from Feb 18, 2024
This very powerful session is still active, and will be available for several more months, and possibly the whole year.
Some have been listening to this session weekly (even sometimes daily). They report that the healing is working in layers of what needs to be healed, especially past trauma, including ancestral trauma.
You may be scared by what you’re seeing in the 3-D world. You may feel like the ground under your feet has shifted and there is nothing to hold onto — no place of security or stability.
At the same time, you know in your heart that we’re in the midst of a sea-change that has been necessary. When you can get centered and calm, you know that all of this turmoil is part of the larger awakening and shift into greater consciousness that we are in the midst of. But the reality of living through those changes is just hard.
You also know that you have things in your past, perhaps old traumas or old patterns, that need to be healed so you can step fully into sovereignty and freedom. You want to shine in the world. You want to either find your unique gifts or use them to the fullest.
The planets are aligning to give you a huge gift! Chiron, the Wounded Healer is meeting up with the North Node. The North node represents our collective soul’s journey and spiritual path. This meeting (conjunction) is bringing an extraordinary opportunity to heal old patterns and traumas that have been holding you back. It is also an opportunity to make a gigantic leap into the freedom and sovereignty that is part of this year of revolution and evolution.
I have been guided to offer a special healing and attunement for this event. The attunement itself will be profound and powerful, but I have also been guided to do healing work around the following: any trauma you’re ready to heal from, including ancestral trauma; patterns of people pleasing; places where you’ve been a victim or have victim consciousness of any kind; and more.
This event is for you if you are ready to:
- Leave behind old trauma, including ancestral trauma.
- Leave behind old patterns of people-pleasing, deferring to others; not rocking the boat.
- Stop giving away your power.
- Step into your unique gifts and shine in the world (or ready to find what those gifts are).
- Free you to serve others through your unique gifts.
You may already be feeling the shift. Even though there’s a lot of volatility and intensity, you also know that it’s time to heal. If so:
You’re experiencing the energy of Chiron meeting with the North Node in Aries coming up on February 19.
Chiron is the wounded Healer, so this is a huge opportunity for personal and collective healing.
The north node is in Aries. This represents our collective soul contract – where we are moving to as human beings, and as a planet.
In its higher octaves, the north node in Aries represents a strong sense of self and your unique gifts (if you are doing your personal and spiritual work, you are going to be able to access what your unique gifts are easier than ever before this year), and to step into sovereignty for the good of all (Aquarius).
The South node represents the past patterns that we are called collectively to leave behind. The South node in Libra is about people-pleasing and giving away your power. It can be about never wanting to rock the boat; or always wanting to go along with the crowd.
It is absolutely extaordinary that Chiron, the Wounded Healer is meeting up with the North node just at this moment in this year of revolution and evolution.
I will attune you to this event, as well as the upcoming full moon in Virgo, which has similar themes. More importantly, this session will have a strong healing focus.

I have been guided to offer a series of celebration, attunement, and healing sessions throughout this year to support you in being able to make the most effective use of these energies for your highest and best good (and that of the planet). I also want to create community so that you know you aren’t alone. We are all in this together, and you will find like-hearted others who are wanting to do the same.
We are in the midst of a time of huge unraveling and change. I want to help you navigate what’s happening now so you can stay grounded, let go of what you need to let go of, and to use these energies to continue to do the transformation that we’re all called to do as we move into the new 200-year age inaugurated on Dec 21, 2020 that is shifting us all into unity consciousness, shared power structures (instead of the old top-down ones), abundance, and more.
These sessions are for all! Anyone on our planet who is experiencing or has experienced both the contraction and the push toward transformation that we’ve been undergoing will experience the benefits of this session.
What is an attunement or alignment and what is its power?
Attunement means to “bring into harmony.” It helps you to be “in tune” with the energies that are strongly affecting us. Alignment means “the proper positioning or state of adjustment of parts in relation to each other.” When you are aligned with the energies, that puts you in sync with them and gives you a greater ability to incorporate the gifts they bring and to use these energies more effectively.
Being attuned or aligned means that you have nature’s support for these shifts. This session will connect you with the opportunities for growth that these events is bringing.
In addition to the deep healing work we will do, this session will help you:
- Come back to center, stay grounded, and not get pulled out by the revolutionary energy and changes that are happening.
- Use these transformational energies to let go of what no longer serves you or holds you back, and to birth what is ready to be birthed in you.
- Connect with your own inner resources and light to deal with all that’s going on.
- Stay out of the turmoil; stay strong and anchored in the Divine.
- Connect with and rest in the sure, deep knowledge that all that's happening is in the service of awakening and our larger shift into unity consciousness, shared power, and economic and social structures that bring justice for all people.
Your Guide: Mary Shields, PhD
Since 2003, I have been working with astrological energies as a healing practitioner. About a decade ago, Spirit gave me the gift of attuning and aligning people with these energies in such a way that they can use them for their greatest benefit and healing. I have been working both individually and in groups in this way ever since.
Additionally, I bring a strong background in Celtic spirituality. I lived in Scotland for two years, and also did research on Celtic spirituality as part of my sabbatical. As a minister, I know first-hand the importance of ritual and gathering. I love facilitating both, and have been doing so for several decades.
One of my gifts is creating community, and I now have close to a decade of experience doing it online. For many years, I did these attunements and celebrations via teleconference. Zoom has enhanced our sense of connection and community by adding the ability to see each other as we participate together.
What happens on the call?
This is an energetic and healing session, so the process is not like a workshop or class with exercises. Celebration will begin and end each event. I will begin with opening sacred space. We will begin with the celebration and attunement to the Solstice. I will let you know ahead of time what to bring or prepare (for example, I may ask you to have a candle ready to light together).
Next, I will give some information about the astrological event(s), as well as the challenges and opportunities it brings. We will then dive into the attunement(s) and session, which I will explain as they happen. There will be some short periods of silence. I may ask you to breathe deeply or tap your head, heart, and navel (the three brain centers of the body — to learn more, click here). The last part of the healing session is devoted to the healing of the planet, with all of us participating through holding space. We will end by completing our celebration together.
Generally, you are in a relaxed, receptive state throughout. I do suggest you have a notebook handy for any notes you wish to make. I also suggest that you make sure you are in a private, receptive space.
It is especially powerful if you can be on video for the first part of the call, so we can see and feel each other more directly that way. And not to worry if you can’t be on the call live, or need to be on audio/phone only: if you are registered for the call, you are fully connected into the entire event.
What might you experience during or after the session?
You may or may not feel anything during or after the session. That’s perfectly fine. The energy and healing will still be working in you whether you can feel it or not. Whatever you experience (or don’t experience) is just right for you. You will receive what you need.
You may seem to “fall asleep” during the session. Or, you may fall asleep every time you try to listen to the session for a while. This is also perfectly normal. If this happens, know that you are in a very deep, restful state where Spirit can do the deeper work inside you. Don’t resist it and don’t worry — you haven’t missed a thing! Just follow your body’s needs as you listen, and the session will work in you as it needs to.
After the session, you may feel energized and ready to take on the world, or you may feel, as my client Linda told me, “Like I was hit with a truck.” The session will affect you differently than it will other people. What you feel after one session may be completely different than what you feel after another. The energy and healing will be continuing to work in you for quite some time. Be gentle with yourself, especially the day after. Drink lots of water, rest, and give yourself time to integrate.
